Encourage One Another

It’s been a season of transitions for my husband and me. We’re heading towards where we’ve always wanted to be but it’s a process to get there. Sometimes it’s overwhelming. Sometimes one of us feels like we’re wilting. That’s when the other steps in and speaks encouraging truth that bring life to a weary heart. 💕 It’s so important to remember to breathe and accept God’s precious grace for the journey!

Is there someone in your life who could use a dose of encouragement today? Reach out to them and share a smile! 😊❤️

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11

  1. Sometimes I forget that my husband might feel like that.
He has that tough exterior when he’s feeling bad.
When we’re alone and he’s worried, i tend to break out in a one-line prayer about what’s bothering him to help him focus back on the Lord.

He doesnt seem to mind that. Sometimes he’ll answer that with a one-line prayer himself.
The Lord says to ask. And, many times, in answer, God moves the traffic, gives him an idea, causes him to get the project done, etc.

So I guess that’s ok for us. Cuz if I were to say, “Everything’s going to be all right”, he usually says, “I know everything’s gonna be alright ! But _____________ (this bad thing that isn’t all right !)

So, for me, this will do. We just have to study our guy, or our friends, and see what words or actions speak the most to them.
It sounds like you and your husband are in touch with each other’s feelings. That makes it easy to communicate. God bless you, I pray.
